Enhancing Findability and Productivity with MyData Resulting in 100% User Adoption

Updated: Feb 17

Challenge

Hiring managers struggled with navigating across the different types of information they manage. This was mostly due to siloed architecture, inconsistent terminology, and rigid navigation patterns of the original design. Often users were unsure where they were looking, per research coming from the PM. Other known pain points included excessive pagination, unclear filtering, and limited functionality on mobile devices.

Solutions

  • I introduced a unified, categorical navigation structure to organize data entities.

  • Enhanced usability with UI features like a floating action button for pagination and scrolling.

  • Implemented mobile-first design with list/card views and optimized functionality for smaller screens.

Results

User feedback confirmed easier browsing, reduced navigation excise, and improved mobile usability. Future improvements include user-driven dashboards and integration with analytics tools for advanced data visualization.
